  • Hiring Pay Range:
    • Resilience Officer IV: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 annualized
    • Resilience Officer V: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 annualized
      • The hiring pay range for this position is commensurate with the level of relevant experience and education.

Summary

  • Come be a part of building and scaling an effective resilience and governance program at ANB Bank. We are looking for an energetic leader who is deeply experienced in risk management and technology. You will lead meaningful change for ANB Bank focusing on vendor/third party risk management as well as business continuity and resiliency. The employee must be able to develop strong understanding of the issues, analyze the business scenarios for root causes, articulate key risks, determine any customer impacts, as well as develop and provide feedback on appropriate changes and/or tests. Employee must demonstrate strong understanding of the banks critical systems, functions and vendors and the requirements for business resumption and continuity. In each of these activities, the successful candidate will work closely with business unit and technical management and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Grow and oversee governance risk functions for ANB Bank.
  • Cultivate and incorporate a strong governance culture across the company.
  • Perform analysis of enterprise governance data to identify insights, trends, and emerging risk.
  • Ensure risks and business activities are monitored and assessed on a regular basis aligning with set risk appetites and overall risk exposure.
  • Develop and enhance operational efficiencies across the governance department.
  • Develop reporting procedures and train all lines of defense on escalation procedures.
  • Prepare, execute and monitor for completion mitigation or remediation plans for risks falling outside the prescribed risk appetites.
  • Maintain and monitor effective communication across all stakeholders and departments.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with external parties including vendors or service providers.
  • Balance multiple initiatives, monitor and report on progress and handle any issues that arise.
  • Chair and facilitate additional committee meetings where appropriate.
  • Mediate problems encountered by team members.
  • Supports incident response and recovery activities for business or technology disruptions, including those caused by cyber-attacks, natural disaster, man-made disaster, and other crisis scenarios at all times as necessitated by the disruption.
  • Designs resilience strategies that improve the company’s ability to evolve, anticipate, withstand and recover from disruptions that impact critical business operations.
  • Travel to various banking locations and working non-standard hours will be required.
  • Maintains a current knowledge and consistent compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, as well as knowledge and consistent compliance with other banking regulations and Bank policies and procedures related to the position.

Education and/or Experience 

Resilience Officer IV:

  • 4 - 7 years of related IT or banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High-level understanding of various platform environments, networks, firewalls, storage, mainframe, and midrange systems.
  • Preferred experience in business continuity or disaster recovery.
  • Preferred general understanding of banking products, services, forms, and regulations.
  • Preferred Associates degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Resilience Officer V:

  • 7 - 10 years of related IT or banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High-level understanding of various platform environments, networks, firewalls, storage, mainframe, and midrange systems.
  • Preferred experience in business continuity or disaster recovery.
  • Preferred general understanding of banking products, services, forms, and regulations.
  • Preferred Associates degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
