Description of Task to be Performed:

Come join our growing team and make a difference every day! As part of a high-performing team, the selected candidate will provide a versatile range of computer, networking, and systems engineering support with a focus on cloud technologies, particularly AWS expertise to a mission critical effort.

This position is on-site, with the potential for up to two days per week of remote support with customer permission, in Chantilly, VA.

This position requires a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain an SCI clearance with a polygraph.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
Ddministering and configuring Linux operating systems, Redhat a plus.
Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, RDS, Load Balancers, etc)
In-depth knowledge and understanding of a broad range of computing technologies and providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
Collaborating closely in Agile development teams for deploying infrastructure and development tools in both local and AWS environments.
Experience with Python as well as Shell scripting languages, including Bash.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education : Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Information Systems, or any related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience migrating from physical to cloud solutions.
Experience with automation and/or configuration management tools (Puppet, CloudFormation, Ansible)
Experience supporting container hosting and orchestration.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or desire to obtain this certification.
AWS Certified Developer or desire to obtain this certification.
AWS Certified DevOps Developer or desire to obtain this certification.
