Handson mechanical and electrical experience
Knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
Previouslaser experience is a plus
Theproduction technician will be responsible for executing variousassembly tasks such as performing mechanical and electricalassembly work and ensuring our systems meet defined safetystandards.
Additionally the production technician will collaboratewith internal and external stakeholders to develop future statestrategies and solutions.
Outcomes :
- The production technician is responsible for improvingthe companys products and processes and contributing to its revenuegrowth.
- Primary Responsibilities of theProduction Technician :
- Build electromechanicalassemblies and laser systems
- Work withsuppliers on procured products
- Providecustomer support both onsite and remotely
- Ensure that installations and applications meet customerneeds and safety standards
- Collaborate withengineers to design and commission new systems
Requirements andskills :
- Handsonmechanical and electrical experience
- Knowledgeof electrical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safetystandards
- Problemsolving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Strongorganizational and communication skills
- Previous laser experience is a plus
Qualifications :
- Ability to read and understand building plansand electrical schematics
- Ability tocommunicate effectively in writing
- Ability towork with all levels of electrical voltage
- Understanding of digital and analog circuits
- Ability and willingness to travel (up to 30%)
- 2year technology or electronics degreepreferred
- 3 5 years industry experiencepreferred
