ANALYZE PATHOLOGY Inc is Hiring a HISTOTECHNOLOGIST Near Deerfield, FL

Duties:
  • Perform histology procedures including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and coverslipping.
  • Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Perform quality control and assurance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests performed and results obtained.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or completion of an accredited histology technician program.
  • Certification as a Histology Technician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) is required.
  • Florida State Histology (HT) license is required*
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory or hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with routine histology procedures and equipment.
  • Proficient in laboratory techniques including specimen collection processing and aseptic technique.
  • Strong attention to details. Familiarity with laboratory SOPs and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
