Analytica is seeking a remote DevOps Engineer to support federal government client engagements in the Washington DC metro area. The ideal candidate will play a key part in automating, optimizing, and maintaining application deployment pipelines, ensuring the efficient and secure operations of systems.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Automating, optimizing, and maintaining application deployment, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of systems
Take active part in development and migration of several applications into cloud-based environments
Provide technical guidance to application teams to take advantage of cloud infrastructure
Implement migration efforts with application teams, including data migration
Perform high-level design based on provided client requirements
Build and automate the execution of application and security tests
Communicate with teams as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical field
3 years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud technologies
Proven hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Maven/Gradle, , Terraform/CloudFormation
Strong knowledge of Linux Operating systems and scripting tools such as Groovy, Python, Bash
Experience migrating applications to and operating services in one of the major Cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Experience with relational databases
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Active Security Clearance
