Analytica is seeking a remote DevOps Engineer to support federal government client engagements in the Washington DC metro area. The ideal candidate will play a key part in automating, optimizing, and maintaining application deployment pipelines, ensuring the efficient and secure operations of systems.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Automating, optimizing, and maintaining application deployment, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of systems 

• Take active part in development and migration of several applications into cloud-based environments 

• Provide technical guidance to application teams to take advantage of cloud infrastructure 

• Implement migration efforts with application teams, including data migration 

• Perform high-level design based on provided client requirements 

• Build and automate the execution of application and security tests

• Communicate with teams as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products 

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical field

• 3 years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud technologies 

• Proven hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, Maven/Gradle, , Terraform/CloudFormation 

• Strong knowledge of Linux Operating systems and scripting tools such as Groovy, Python, Bash 

• Experience migrating applications to and operating services in one of the major Cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP 

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools 

• Experience with relational databases 

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 

• Active Security Clearance
