SUMMARY:

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s inventory. This role involves counting inventory on a regular basis, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy, reducing discrepancies, and supporting the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Counting:

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts of inventory items.
• Perform physical counts of inventory and compare results to computerized inventory records.
• Ensure all inventory is accurately counted and recorded.

Discrepancy Identification & Resolution:

• Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
• Report findings of discrepancies to the Supervisor.
• Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies by tracing history, locating missing inventory, and correcting records.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving inventory items.
• Previous experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or a related field preferred.
