Join the Anakeesta family, build your career and discover the magic in the mountains! Anakeesta is seeking a Park Operations Supervisor that is responsible for helping lead our Park Services/Custodial and Adventure Rangers teams!

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive culture within the department and leading through example
• Assist with employee hiring, counseling, and terminations
• Create and maintain schedules within the department and verify timesheets
• Engage with guests by greeting them, answering questions and providing park information
• Maintain chemical and cleaning material product inventory for the entire mountain
• Provide quality control checks for all areas to make sure that team members are meeting expectations
• Prepare carts with appropriate cleaning supplies including, mops and disinfectants as necessary to clean and sanitize each station
• Maintain park cleanliness to include walkways, restrooms, and Adventure Elements
• Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispenser, and wipes down counter tops, wall tiles and mops floor
• Cleans toilets and puts sanitation and deodorizers in toilet bowls, if necessary, plunges toilet to insure unclogged and free flowing flushes
• Checks scent aerator and replaces if necessary or replaces batteries
• Cleans offices by vacuuming floors, carpets, and sweeping, dusts all desks, tables, lamps, etc.
• Removes all trash bags, replaces with new bags, and deodorizes trash can
• Open and close Adventure Elements based on scheduled hours
• Ensure all guests are follow posted rules and regulations of each Adventure Element
• Will work positions in rotations with the team based on staffing
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Proficient communication skills
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Prior experience in operations to include attractions, park cleanliness, or guest service is preferred
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Able to become CPR/AED/First Aid trained within six months – training provided

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, and crawl
• Must be able to move trash carts and toss trash bags overhead into dumpsters
• Must be able to maneuver stairs while carrying mop buckets and supplies
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on uneven ground
• Must be able to work at varying heights
