Job Description and Responsibilities:Anabranch Solutions, LLC specializes in low-tech process-based stream restoration throughout the western US. We are seeking team leaders to help guide multiple riverscape restoration efforts throughout Utah and grow Anabranch Solutions' footprint in Utah and neighboring states such as Idaho and Colorado. We are looking for self-motivated individuals to promote, coordinate, and lead restoration projects to improve riverscape health with process-based restoration. A successful candidate will work with other Anabranch Solutions staff and principals to ensure successful planning, implementation, and maintenance of restoration projects. The position responsibilities include working with crew managers to plan project logistics, ensuring all staff follow safety procedures, oversight of health and welfare of the construction crew, directing construction crews, designing and implementing restoration, documenting assessments, planning, designs, as-built surveys, adaptive management plans, maintaining equipment, material and quantity estimation, procuring sourcing and staging building materials, ensuring permit compliance, site cleanup, and other tasks as required. Minimum qualifications:

  • BS or higher in ecology, hydrology, geomorphology, ecosystem restoration, or similar field

  • Experience as supervisor and manager of support staff; fostering a supportive, respectful, and engaging workplace culture
  • Three or more years experience as a consultant or project manager (public or non-profit sector) including proposal writing, budget development and management, with a track-record of completion and satisfied clients and/or partners
  • Experience providing constructive feedback and turning around edits for co-workers and collaborators in a time-efficient manner
  • Strong leadership skills and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to communicate clearly and regularly with a mix of employees, clients, regulators, stakeholders and subcontractors
