Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist to join our team. The Specialist will be responsible for various financial and accounting tasks, including accrual accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow analysis, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial acumen and securities law, as well as experience with governmental accounting and Sage software.
Duties:
- Operating and Subsidy Support Analyst
o Ensure staff adhere to defined policies and procedures in preparing budgets and understand labor line items and its impacts, involvement in CLIENT’s monthly close meetings, budget reprogramming, forecasting justifications and process documentation to advance departmental objectives as needed.
o Participate in collating and verification of inputs for the subsidy model, evaluate outputs and act as first reviewer of results and running scenario analysis. Understand quarterly billing and dedicated funding impact on subsidy funding mechanisms. Must understand federal relief grants funding and its requirements and other legacy funding grants.
o Resources should have working knowledge and experience with Hyperion and PeopleSoft or like systems.
Support Analyst
o Documentation of processes to include desktop manuals as needed. Documentation encompasses the use of a specialized screen capture tool coupled with detailed narrative to provide an understanding of the step-by-step procedures needed to execute specific job functions. Good working knowledge and understanding of financial functions is required.
Experience_
Has an undergraduate or graduate degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience at a budget or financial specialist level related to engagements for public and/or private sector, financial institutions, real estate, OMB for Federal, State or Local government or other specialized area defined by a task order.

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
