An Autonomous Cargo Vehicle Startup is Hiring a Mechanical Technician Near Sunnyvale, CA
The ideal candidate has a diverse background in autonomous vehicles, is technically skilled, and is able to be prompt/hit targets.
As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll:
- Install sensors on the vehicle (e.g. cameras, modem, antennas, computer, etc).
- Install wiring harnesses.
- Install and design mechanical fixtures to mount on the car.
- Test the vehicle in the field to quality check the platform and software integration.
- Experience working on safety-critical robotic products
- Experience installing autonomous vehicle sensors
- Experience installing wiring harnesses on the vehicle
- Understanding EV inner workings and power distribution
- Understanding different diagnostics a car could produce and how to clear them
