Job Description:

An Amazing Smile is a family-centered dental practice located in Tempe, AZ. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Dental Front Office staff member. This full-time position is perfect for a Dental Front Office applicant who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and helping patients achieve their best smiles. Please note that this is not a remote job.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments.
  • Check patients in and out, collect payments, and verify insurance information.
  • Assist with billing and coding procedures as needed.
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary.
  • Ensure the front office area is clean and organized.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information.
  • Collaborate with dental team members to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Requirements:

  • Dentrix strongly preferred.
  • Prior 2 years’ experience in a dental office setting
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in dental insurance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player, willing to assist in various tasks as needed.
