Overview

Amyx is seeking a Cybersecruity Engineer to support the US Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) Senior Information Security Officer (SISO) contract at Scott Air Force Base, IL.

As part of the current and future TRANSCOM cybersecurity architecture, our Cybersecurity Engineer will assist in the creation, review and approval of Zero Trust initiatives including development of Zero Trust Policy and Governance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, review, and approval of access control policies as part of a collaborative and iterative policy governance program.• Assist in the development and execution of the governance process by administering the policy review process and making recommendations to the Government on Zero Trust access control policy impact and risks.• Provide monthly metrics on Zero Trust governance support activities.• Maintain current documentation on access control policy governance• Develop baseline access control policies for USTRANSCOM network enclaves and publish best practices

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of direct related experience in the areas of Cybersecurity and Zero Trust• Experience with Zero Trust Architectures and Zero Trust Network Access• Knowledge of Windows endpoint security concepts and tools• Ability to develop an maintain configuration management of complex system configuration• Experience in the development and issuance of IT and Cybersecurity Policy and Governance • Secret security clearance • Must have and maintain IAM II certification• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to present material to senior DoD and non-DoD officials.• Able to communicate effectively with senior leaders and customers to clearly present technical approaches and findings.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree and at least 10 years experience in related field• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the USTRANSCOM mission
