POSITION SUMMARYAssembles electrical components and circuits by reading and interpreting specifications, assembly drawings and outline drawings and bills of materials.

Wires components together, which may include cutting and bending conduit. Performs small precision assembly and assembly of large units as required.

Fabricates or modifies parts or structures according to specifications, using drills, cutters,. Completes documentation and maintains traceability records.

Uses drawings and / or bill of material to pull correct parts for the assembly process. Performs assignments with minimal direction.

Receives direction from the Team Leader or Supervisor. Assists more highly skilled team members.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Works in a variety of manufacturing areas to include machining, winding, coil and other assembly, painting, testing, and shipping.

• Performs in process quality checks to include electrical testing, close tolerance measuring, and documentation.-Operates equipment and makes normal overhead crane lifts.
• Reads and interprets complex manufacturing drawings and process specs.-Familiar with and has experience with ESD process and controls.
• Works in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean work area.-Arrives at the work station on time with minimal absences and adheres to all company policies.

Performs quality work and exhibits pride in his / her efforts to manufacture to customer and client standards.Complies with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEHigh school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year mechanical assembly related experience or 2 years of similar electrical or mechanical experience.
