Our client is seeking a Data Coordinator to support the Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QSHE) Teams in the execution of program activities, as directed, at Holston Army Ammunition Plant (HSAAP) or Radford Army Ammunition Plant (RFAAP).
The OSI Data Coordinator will be required to integrate within a team of Subject Matter Experts in an effort to fulfill technical requirements and deliverables to the US Department of Defense. OSI Data Coordinator job tasks include the following:
• Primary liaison with the Department Director to facilitate high team performance.
• Provide support to ensure that all OSI-level company and team goals and objectives are accomplished and that operations continues safely.
• Support the OSI QSHE Director with collecting metric data and developing, editing, and formatting weekly and monthly presentations for various meetings.
• Manage OSI team meeting agendas and minutes, both writing and sending out minutes to attendees post meeting.
• Organize and manage the team OSI network folders and team SharePoint site.
• Write, edit, format, review, and finalize department documentation, including a variety of policies, procedures, presentations, reports, and other documents.
• Assist/support the team with maintaining program milestones.
• Enter data and monitor corrective action completion into department and sector databases (OSHENS, CRD, etc.).
• Assist with auditing compliance with applicable site requirements and applicable health and safety standards as established by OSHA, the Department of Defense (DoD), and other state/federal health and safety laws and regulations.
• Provide support in the development of training materials for QSHE programs.
Skills
• Highly effective communication skills, verbal and written, including experience with technical writing
• Computer skills, to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, etc.) and PDF editing software, including Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Ability to maneuver through typical obstacles presented on manufacturing and construction sites.
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 50 lbs. as well as climb ladders.
• Respirator use is required in some areas, and employees may be subject to seasonal weather variations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Experience Required

• Knowledge of safety and health regulations and modern safety management principles.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other data visualization software.
• Experience in data organization or document management.
• Experience in reporting and presentation development.
• 2 years of overall work experience in office or manufacturing businesses.
