AmSurg is Hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse-Hourly Near Springfield, MA
We are currently searching for a Part-Time Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Candidate must be willing to cross train to areas, such as OR, GI endoscopy suites, preoperative area, and PACU. Major responsibilities include: Pre- op responsibilities – interviewing, assessing patients, starting IVs and patient teaching. PACU responsibilities include post anesthesia recovery, pain management and patient education. Operating / Endoscopy Rooms include circulating duties.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills; be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse; maintain basic cardiac life support, ACLS, and PALS certification; must be positive and energetic, a strong team player, and excellent communicator; be able to prioritize multiple tasks; and have strong decision making skills. Pediatric experience preferred.
