Memorial Same Day Surgery Center is a freestanding outpatient surgical facility in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Our surgeons specialize in ophthalmology, orthopedics, spine, podiatry, pain management, and gastroenterology. We believe in compassionate medicine, where our focus is on each individual patient. We are currently searching for a (FT or PRN) GI Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: Experience working in a busy GI department, scope processing, pathology collection, prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
