Amscot, a leading financial services provider in the state of Florida is looking for an experienced compliance analyst to join our Compliance Department. The Consumer Compliance Analystwill be engaged in a dynamic and growing role establishing compliance procedures, analyzing trends, investigating case studies, presenting trend reports and developing organizational strategies to ensure the company compliance with federal, state and local laws. They will be part of a dynamic team with opportunities for career development, growth and mentorship.

Primary Responsibilities of the Consumer Compliance Analyst Include:

• Assess operational procedures and collection calls for compliance with federal and state collection laws, including but not limited to the FCCPA and UDAAP.
• Identify/report company trends, risk gaps and recommend corrective action.
• Identify and report on potential high-risk collection call scenarios.
• Work on risk assessments, reviews, and regulatory exams.
• Oversee internal controls and conduct quality control reviews.
• Create detailed reports utilizing various data collected from reviews.
• Report findings regularly to senior management in meetings and reports.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities Required to be Considered:

• 3-5years of related compliance experience
• Knowledge and understanding of federal compliance requirements under the Dodd-Frank Act.
• Ability to learn and navigate data analytics systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
• Analytical, detail oriented with strong organizational/time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to work in cooperation with regulators, business partners, and senior management.
