Job Summary:

The Quality Control Technician is a vital member of our analytical laboratory team and is responsible for conducting thorough inspections and analyses of gases and materials to ensure the highest standards of quality are met. The technician will utilize advanced analytical techniques and equipment to evaluate material properties and verify compliance with industry specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of analytical methods for incoming raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and operate various analytical instruments including Gas Chromograph (GC), TOC (Total Organic Carbon) Analyzer, LPC (Liquid Particle Counter) and NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and associated instruments to assess material quality.
  • Record and analyze data to identify trends or issues in material quality, reporting any deviations from standards to the Quality Control specialist.
  • Collaborate with production teams to implement quality control measures and improvements in the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality control in an analytical laboratory setting.
  • Experience in the operation of the listed analytical instruments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
