Job Description Summary : Ideal candidate would hold an Inspection Authorization. Previous management experience is preferred but not required. Individual accepting this position will oversee our; hangars, technicians and expanding fleet of King Air and Citation Aircraft
Supervise and direct all RFS Mx personnel.
Assure all Mx, Inspections and, paperwork are completed properly and timely.
Manage and participate in on-call maintenance rotation.
Ensures RFS facilities and equipment are kept neat, orderly and compliant.
Monitor inventory orders and core returns.
Ensure proper parts tagging procedures are followed.
Screens aircraft forms for proper discrepancy and MEL documentation.
Communicates aircraft status with the Director of Operations, DOO in the absence of the Director of Maintenance, DOM.
Assist with maintenance, preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, alterations, troubleshooting and parts replacement.
Complete logbook entries and tracking system updates.
Record maintenance and parts expenditures for billing purposes.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Valid FAA Airframe & Power plant License
5 years of corporate aviation experience with King Air and Citation experience preferred
Valid driver's license
Typical work week (Mon-Fri), Occasional weekends, and on-call
Travel requirement: up to 10percent of travel (occasional travel required for repairs at other locations)
Position requires participation in the FAA - DOT drug and alcohol testing program
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to push and/or pull 100 lbs.
Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
