AMR Resources LLC is Hiring an Alarm Technician Near Louisville, KY

Alarm/Radio Installation and Service Technician:

Multiband Global is hiring for an exciting new opportunity in the Louisville area, providing a high-quality customer service experience for a global brand deploying home security installation and repair solutions!

An Alarm/Radio Installation and Service Technician will work both inside and outside the job site and is responsible for the installation, service, and customer experience for home security automation systems. This individual should be customer-focused and committed to ensuring the highest degree of end-user satisfaction, as well as being well versed in the fundamentals of alarm service, wiring, and installation.

 Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and an enthusiastic demeanor
  • Minimum of 2-year alarm experience preferred
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and days with the understanding that workdays can be more than normal hours. The standard work week is Tuesday through Saturday.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license 
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background, drug screening, and DMV background check
  • Must be able to obtain State licensing requirements.

Key Competencies:

  • Installation and termination security equipment, coaxial cable, and Cat5e cable
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of common alarm systems
  • Ability to read and understand programming guides and manuals 
  • Home camera system experience preferred
  • Identifying and recommending additional equipment and services based on customer needs
  • Educating the customer about ordered and installed services
  • Verification of proper device installation and testing of equipment
  • Proficiency in low voltage cable installation techniques
  • Working knowledge of tools used in alarm industries
  • Basic knowledge of routers and home networking
  • Inventory management and accuracy
  • Home automation of lifestyle devices
