Now Hiring CNC Machine Operators
15 Mile Between Gratioit and Harper.
Pay Rate $18-20 / Hour
2nd Shift 2 : 00pm - 10 : 00pm. Monday to Friday with occasional overtime Saturday.
Must Have Experience
Job Description :
Machine Operators are responsible for performing operations on assigned machines. This individual performs one or more of the following efficiently : operates production equipment;
burrs machined products; inspects parts in process and finished goods; packages finished goods. Operates drill presses and other machines where complex setups, fixtures and tooling are furnished by others.
May operate computer console. Uses simple measurement instruments to check work. Makes simple adjustments and notifies setter of the need for more complex tool or machine adjustments.
Functional Outline :
- Setup, hand load, change tools and toolsets.
- Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Keep machinery and tooling in good working order.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
- Communicate issues effectively to appropriate individuals.
- Visual attention to detail to detect surface imperfections such as dings, dents, scratches, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements : Physical Demands
Physical Demands
Standing for long periods of time. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands and have finger dexterity; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and able to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Personal Protective Equipment is required including but not limited to gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection.
