Division Overview:

Ampirical’s Transmission & Distribution Division (T&D) manages and designs concurrent large-scale transmission projects. Our engineering employees have designed hundreds of miles of overhead transmission and distribution lines for a variety of energy clients. We utilize the latest in design software tools to provide a thorough technical line design.

Job Summary:

The Engineer Intern will work closely with the Engineers on the team and assist in the engineering, design, development, implementation, and analysis of Transmission and Distribution Line Power Systems through various tasks.

Who You Are:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Preferably Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferably a Junior or Senior
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
• Professional
• Willingness and Ability to take initiative

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the engineering, design, development, implementation, and analysis on Engineering projects. 
• Learn local and national codes and how they apply to each project. Review client standards.
