Come work with a local, woman, and therapist founded and run company! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Sign Language Interpreter to provide services in the school setting for the rest of the 2023-2024 school year. We are looking for to hire for a full time position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• The Sign Language Interpreter transliterates and interprets, through use of sign language, materials for the hearing disabled student. Facilitates communication between users and non-users of sign language.
• Position begins ASAP thru June 21, 2024 (and very likely to continue into next school year)
• High School assignment

Qualifications and Skills

• Thorough knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and Signing Exact English
• Must have State Authorization as an Educational Interpreter
• 4.0 EIPA or higher required
• Requires fingerprinting before starting
