Objectives of this Role:· Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
· Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
· Oversee multiple projects, ensuring program goals are reached
· Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity
What you’ll be doing...The key to our success is mainly dependent on the stellar ability of our program management team. We’re currently searching for an experienced program manager to join our ranks and continue our tradition of success. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives.
You will collaborate with the engineering and delivery teams to deliver the best product with the most efficient use of resources and technologies. You will work with all the stakeholders and project teams to assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure the timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, balance the business needs with the technical constraints while minimizing risk and driving maximum business benefit.
You should not only be passionate about delivering accurate, on-time solutions. You should also be obsessed with contributing to the development of high-performance teams through rigorous goal-setting, disciplined attention to performance metrics, continuous process improvement, and mentorship.This individual must work collaboratively in a dynamic, face-paced environment and seek creative solutions to complex problems proactively.
What you'll be doing:Oversee projects from a program management perspective coordinating all agile project teams.
Management of projects:
Provide leadership for projects assigned including an understanding of requirements, vision and scope; key resources to engage and the assignment of tasks.
Schedule and lead meetings as well as capturing meeting notes.
Control deliverables and manage to target dates.
Control risks, issues and action items and mitigate where needed.
Remove barriers and manage project scope.
Create a task list, project plan and success factors.
Solve problems, manage communications and build consensus.
Reporting of project status - to immediate manager as well as executive readouts.
Improvement of processes within the team.
Evaluate process and system effectiveness and continuously improving our solutions
Understanding and reporting of project and program delivery concepts, such as burndown rates, delivery velocity, release planning, and forecasting.
Where you'll be working:In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
You’ll need to have:· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively participate and lead discussions and present material at manager and executive levels, and to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, technology management, business management, or similar
· Advanced knowledge of business processes (e.g. ITIL, Project Management) and the impact thereof on the technical environment.
· 6 or more years of relevant work experience.
· 4-5 years of experience in technical program management, preferably in a related industry.
· Advanced knowledge of the full life-cycle of project delivery.
· Experience in project planning and providing leadership.
· Ability to collaborate with IT engineers and report to senior managers.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
· Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Even better if you have:· PMI PMP certification.
· Ten or more years of Professional Services project delivery leadership.
· Two or more years of Professional Services program delivery leadership.
· Proven experience and ability to engage clients and manage relationships at the C-Level.
· Leadership ability with excellent communications and team building skills across multiple work locations.
· Strong technical acumen to understand and solve complex network and application layer challenges both from a design and problem management perspective.
