Elevate your teaching practice as part of Professional Corps and help your students achieve incredible growth. As a Professional Corps member, you'll take what you already do in your classroom and combine it with the data and interventions of Early Learning Corps. With regular coaching and specialized training in research-based interventions, you’ll enhance daily reading and math opportunities for students.
This is an AmeriCorps member position with Early Learning Corps, and you’ll be joining an amazing team of teachers, paras and aides. Together, we’re on a mission to help our youngest learners get ready for school! We are currently recruiting Professional Corps members for the 2024-25 school year. To participate in Professional Corps, you need to be a classroom teacher, paraprofessional or aide working with students ages 3-5 — and meet the following minimum qualifications.
By the time they begin their service, our members are:
*Applicants who have received deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve in our programs at this time. DACA applicants may be eligible for Americorps VISTA programs. For more information, click here.

Early Learning Corps is powered by AmeriCorps members who serve as tutors. Started in 2003, Early Learning Corps has helped more than 115,000 children build early literacy and numeracy skills and get ready for Kindergarten.
