We have partnered with Essentia Health to help fill several Respiratory Therapist openings in Detroit Lakes, MN. This is a community hospital that provides both inpatient and outpatient services and holds the distinction of being a Level III trauma center. In addition, it is designated as an Acute Stroke Ready Hospital and features a dedicated NICU Department.
- Days/Nights Shift
- 36 hours per week (8 or 12-hour shifts available)
- No On Call
- $10,000 Sign On Bonus
- Every other weekend if 8-hour shifts; every 3rd weekend if 12-hour shifts
- RRT certification preferred or ability to be certified within 90 days of hire

As a Respiratory Therapist (RT) you will provide respiratory care through patient assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
Perform all general and critical care respiratory care procedures and diagnostics on patients ages infant through adult.
These duties include but are not limited to:
- Mechanical ventilation
- Airway management
- Critical care transport
- Arterial blood gas puncture
- Medication delivery
- Bronchial hygiene
- Patient assessments and education
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited respiratory care/therapy program
- Must hold certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or a Certified Respiratory Therapists, or equivalent.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified within 1 month
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required or obtained within 1 year.
