JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:  Nurse Practitioner - Orthopedic Surgery, Physician Assistant - Orthopedic Surgery
Location: Lubbock, TX 79140
EMR System: : Epic
Practice Setting: Outpatient ,  , Inpatient
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized orthopedic surgical care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

Perform thorough orthopedic assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.

Collaborate closely with the orthopedic surgical team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Participate in telehealth consultations for pre- and post-operative follow-up care.

Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using the Epic EMR system.

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in [Specify State].

Specialization in Orthopedic Surgery for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants.

Experience in orthopedic surgical practice is highly desired.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
