Amity is committed to research, development implementation, and dissemination of information regarding community building.Remembrance, Resolution, Reconciliation, Restoration, RenewalAbout the Position:This is a remote/ hybrid position for candidates local to the Los Angeles, CA metro area. Salary range: $80-85KThe People Operations Talent Acquisition Manager leads the recruitment efforts of the organization to attract highly qualified candidates to work at Amity, developing talent sources and creating an ongoing talent pipeline; partners with hiring managers to anticipate talent needs, including workforce planning; manages the onboarding and orientation process; and provides ongoing team learning and development. This role is also responsible for the continued development and evolution of industry-leading talent acquisition strategies.What You Will Do:
  • Manages, updates, and maintains accurate and up to date Job Descriptions across the organization.
  • Leads in the recruitment of high-priority hires, as defined by the executive team.
  • Provides training and development for the talent acquisition team as it relates to recruitment techniques.
  • Manages all job posting accounts.
  • Develop and build strong business partnerships hiring supervisors and/or managers.
  • Provides data to the Director of People Operations & Culture and Business Partner relating to exit interviews to improve retention.
  • Develops strategic outreach plans and processes to ensure a diverse candidate pool, to include attending career fairs, and professional events to develop relationships that support Amity’s brand and growth plan.
  • Maintains and maximizes implementation of applicant tracking systems (ATS) software; track and apply relevant recruiting metrics, analysis and provides recommendation strategies to acquire top talent.
  • Creates and maintains recruitment relationships with other institutions to create natural and mutually beneficial hiring pipelines.
  • Collaborates with Director of People Operations and Culture to standardize the process for onboarding and new employee orientation.
  • Works with people operations team and business partner to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; recommends best hiring practices to maintain compliance.
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics from the organization's applicant tracking system (ATS) or talent management system.
  • Maintain thorough and current knowledge of all hiring policies, state and federal regulations, and laws.
  • Communicate new policies, information, and directives to talent acquisition team.
  • Monitor and analyze turnover statistics and other related metrics.
  • Collaborates with people operations manager regarding transfers, promotions, and onboarding processes are compliant with organization policies.
  • Acts as a change agent with an emphasis on aligning compliant hiring practices with the company's mission and core values.
  • Completes other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
  • Required: Five (5) years of recruiting experience in California.
  • Required: Minimum Two (2) years of managing others in a human resource role.
  • Preferred: Knowledgeable and experienced in Boolean search techniques.
  • Experience using various sourcing platforms.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop hiring initiatives based on data and analytics to support multiple business units.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Skilled in communicating with diverse candidates – via phone, in person or virtually.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them as needed.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and statutes which govern policies and practices of hiring and employment.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or PHR
  • Thorough knowledge of recruiting in a multi-state environment is a plus (CA & AZ).
