We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for Barista positions at our café located in the heart of Raleigh. We are currently looking for those with solid weekend availability and can offer support throughout weekdays as needed. Hours can range from 16-34 per week.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages; occasionally assist with the preparation of baked goods.
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including daily cleaning and stocking of supplies as well as weekly cleaning and additional tasks as needed.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service to help ensure a satisfactory visit.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth operations and a good work environment.
• Prep and prepare sandwiches, smoothies, and other menu items.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista or working in a baking/café setting is preferred, but not required.
• Up-to-date and valid ServSafe certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license as well as a reliable mode of transportation.

***Barista shifts run all day and the café is open 7 days a week. Monday-Thursday shifts run from 6:30am-4:30pm.Friday from 6:30-6:30, Saturday shift runs from 7:30am-6:30-pm. Sunday shift runs from 7:30am-4:30pm.

***Closing time may slightly extend beyond these hours to ensure closing responsibilities are sufficiently accomplished.

***Changes to start and end times may vary depending on events and store needs.
