Por Vida Program: The Por Vida Program is a culturally responsive Substance Abuse and HIV Prevention Navigator Program for Latinos ages 13-24 at highest risk for HIV and substance use disorders. Through Por Vida Amistades will target hard to reach Latinos to effectively eradicate the prevalence of HIV infections over the next five years.

Job Summary: The HIV/AIDS Prevention Coordinator will be responsible for implementing two curriculums in schools with students, networking with community members, conducting outreach, coordinating screening and HIV testing, and offering additional or necessary resources to participants to include navigation services. This position may also work across other agency programs.

Minimum qualifications:

• Fluent in English/Spanish both written and oral preferred.
• Applicants must consent to background check and drug testing.
• Must have valid/Current Arizona driver's license, reliable transportation to travel across the region, valid/current automobile insurance and an up to date COVID -19 vaccine card.

Preferred experience:

• 1-2 years experience in HIV/AIDS or alcohol and substance abuse prevention.
• Experience in facilitating, reporting, and excellent written/oral communication.

Preferred education:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field with experience in community work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
