Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to join our International Purchasing team. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, category management, and supply chain management. Import/Export or freight forwarding exp. preferred, but not reqd. Proficient in MS Office. Fluent in English, bilingual in Mandarin/ Chinese a plus (not required). BS degree in Business or related areas a plus. Great benefits and pay. Salary is based on experience, education, and qualifications in this area (negotiable).
Responsibilities:
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supplier performance
- Source and procure goods and services at the best possible price
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on procurement goals
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (a plus), Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
