AmicusPoint Law has an Of Counsel opportunity available in its Tigard/Portland office. The ideal candidate is a mid to senior level associate or solo/small firm practitioner looking for an opportunity to grow their practice. Our practice consists of 80 percent employee-side litigation and 20 percent employment advice, general business, and commercial litigation. A candidate’s practice area would be similar or complementary. This position is aimed at practicing attorneys seeking to start or grow their own practice with the support of an already stablished firm.

SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Job Type: Of Counsel
Compensation: To be agreed upon and based on a percentage of case amount resolution.
Education: Law degree and good standing with the Oregon State Bar
Experience: Seven to ten years in active practice in employment litigation or complementary practice area (e.g., PI, UTPA, DUII, immigration, etc.). Must be able to manage cases from intake to completion. Strong writing skills are a must. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
Business Development: Contributes to the overall strategy and goals of the firm as a whole. Strong networking and business development.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to work as part of a team. Understand that a receptionist is just as important as the most senior attorney.
• Exceptional organizational, case management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work within time constraints with limited supervision.
• A sense of humor and community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,867.19 - $103,409.95 per year
