Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience. Your excellent customer service skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome

- Seat guests and provide them with menus

- Assist in managing reservations and waitlists

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries

- Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff

- Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations

- Monitor dining room flow and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient seating

Experience:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus

- Hospitality mindset with a genuine desire to help and serve others

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with guest relations best practices
