The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to take on the combined role of Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. This multifaceted position plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Management:

• Manage all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including scheduling, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT, FMCSA and CVOR regulations, including recordkeeping, inspections, and driver qualification processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance safety performance.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
• Maintain meticulous records of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and related expenses.
• Hire and on-board CDL-A drivers

Dispatching:

• Efficiently schedule and assign drivers to routes and loads.
• Monitor driver progress, ensuring on-time deliveries and pickups.
• Proactively communicate with drivers and customers to resolve any issues.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and logs.
• Scale Trucks In/Out of Yard
• Daily Invoicing and Reporting
• Customer Service & Phone Sales
• All Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:

• CDL-A license highly preferred.
• Experience in fleet management and/or dispatching within the trucking industry.
• In-depth knowledge of DOT FMCSA and CVOR regulations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Mathematical Skills
• Team Player
• Bi-lingual is a plus!!!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Dispatching: 2 years (Preferred)
