The Caminantes dual language program is seeking qualified paraeducators to support our summer program. The program is designed to extend and expand the learning opportunities for our students learning in two languages, and will include a variety of activities in Spanish including songs, movement, games and arts that focus on vocabulary, oral language and literacy skills in Spanish. Paraeducators will support students in achieving learning objectives through small group, differentiated instruction with attention to individual learning profiles. Paraeducators must have instructional experience supporting language learners in a classroom setting.Program Dates: Program July 1-3, 8-11, 15-18, 22-26. (Monday through Thursday except for the 1st week.)Compensation: paraeducator hourly rate. Orientation Meeting for Staff: June 21 for one four hour Orientation and Professional Development Day in late June.
