Job Title: Assistant Teacher

Salary: $18.35 – $19.85 per hour

This is a full time position.

Duties

We are looking for an assistant teacher to help support a lead teacher in a preschool classroom.

Duties may include:

Setting up activities and lessons for groups of children

Communicating with families

Engaging with children in play and learning activities and building social skills

Providing light housekeeping, laundry, occasional meal preparation, and clean up duties

Assisting with partnerships with other organizations in order to serve children

Filling in for other CDC teaching staff, as needed

Maintaining teacher/student ratio in classrooms

Job Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in early childhood, or Preschool CDA.
