What you will do

Let’s do this! Let’s change the world! In this vital role you will perform analytical testing in support of advancing novel large molecule products in Amgen’s pipeline.

  • Developing, and qualifying state-of-the-art and fit-for-purpose quantitative potency and characterization assays and supporting regulatory submissions.
  • Providing data to support technical reports for investigations, product characterization, and regulatory submissions.
  • Generating and analyzing analytical data to support: product development investigations, and regulatory submissions.
  • May contribute to critical analytical development teams (e.g., Product and process development teams, Product quality teams) by providing analytical updates, analytical documentation and data interpretation.
  • Develops and enhances scientific and technical skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Scientific experience OR
  • Associate’s degree and 4 years of Scientific experience OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Scientific experience OR
  • Master’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry
  • 2 years of experience in an industry setting
  • Hands on experience in cell culture
  • Familiarity with method development, method qualification, electronic notebook, and cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements
  • Candidate should be highly organized and motivated, have strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, and collaborate and work in teams
