What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will coordinate its Product Launch activities at our Thousand Oaks, CA or Northern California location. This candidate will join the Global Commercial Operations Digital, Technology and Innovation group. You will be part of the Cross System Product Launch team and will own the lifecycle of the product launch framework and effectively drive the delivery of a tightly aligned commercial ecosystem.

This position will play a strategic role in setting Amgen up for success by prescriptively helping to craft and then lead the team within the Product Launch space. The Sr. IS Business System Analyst of Product Launch must demonstrate a technical and functional thought leadership acumen and work to constantly evolve our Product Launch support across all GCO units and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the SME for Amgen’s Product Launch!

  • Coordinate cyclical practice meetings to encourage and share knowledge with members of the team.

  • Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT) by ensuring value is realized through each engagement.

  • Align closely to senior leadership and key stakeholders in activities such as scoping, engagement plan development and project staffing.

  • Act as an escalation point.

  • Lead mentorship programs to help scale the Product Launch cross systems technical and functional knowledge within Amgen.

  • Engage in continued, self-directed professional growth .

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master’s degree and 3 years of experience

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience

Or

Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven aptitude toward communicating sophisticated business and technical concepts using visualization and modeling aids. Ability to conceptualize and craft sophisticated wireframes, workflows, and diagrams.

  • Demonstrable ability to influence a group audience, facilitate solutioning and lead discussions such as implementation methodology, Road mapping, Enterprise Transformation strategy, and executive-level requirement gathering sessions.

  • Detailed understanding of the product launches commercial cross systems with a keen focus on streamlined deliveries in accordance with stakeholders’ mandates and resources.

  • Strong planning, budgeting, and negotiating skills.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • SAFe Certification, preferred!

The annual base salary range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $107,134-129,381 USD
