AMFM Healthcare is Hiring a Residential Supervisor for Adolescent Mental Healthcare Near Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

Mission Prep and AMFM Healthcare are looking for Residential Supervisors to help lead our incredible teams as we spread passion and hope to the adolescent population!

The Residential Supervisor (RS) has three primary responsibilities (1) supervise all Client Coordinators including training, overseeing both program and CC level employee scheduling, performance evaluation, resolving employee issues, assigning job duties, and overseeing timecard adjustments, (2) ensure the continued smooth operation of the program as it relates to clients, house operations, program policies and procedures, and (3) being the first point of contact for families of the clients in the facilities the RS oversees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 21 years or older to apply for this position.

  • Successful completion of the ADP Selective Screening Services background check as well as any other state, federal or company required background/record check.

  • Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience in direct care position or other human related field.

  • Possess valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by our auto insurance policy which includes, but not limited to, the following requirements: 4 continuous years of driving experience, 21 years of age or older, less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years, and no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years.

  • CPR/First Aid Certification

  • Current T.B. clearance

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on a computer/keyboard, use electronic systems, communicate with others through written and verbal formats, ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time, ability to climb stairs, listening, reading comprehension, lifting up to 20 lbs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate with family members, clients, and other staff members professionally and respectfully.
  • Ability to operate standard office machines and equipment, including telephones, computers, copy machines, fax machines, calculators, scanners, and shredders.
  • Ability to be professional and maintain a positive attitude and relationships with coworkers.
  • Excel at both written and verbal communications to convey essential information; must be able to utilize the proper linguistic syntax and spelling.
  • Knowledge of clinical and medical terminology as it relates to the delivery of clinical care to the clients within our programs as required by our payers.
  • Knowledge of the clinical, medical, and miscellaneous services provided to the clients.
  • Ability to use computer software including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and G Suite products.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Residential Supervisor will be responsible for all the following, and additional duties may be removed or assigned as needed. These include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all clients and staff members by providing appropriate supervision of staff while creating a safe environment for both clients and staff while respecting client and visitor rights.
  • Stay up to date with all program guidelines, policies, and procedures and ensure this information is disseminated to all staff.
  • Hold staff accountable for performance levels, provide feedback to staff, issue disciplinary actions if necessary, complete performance reviews, and recommend staff for pay increases and promotions.
  • Ensure that all staff are properly trained and meet company standards of excellence. Responsible for adequately training all New Hires to work efficiently and safely in all facilities while ensuring that all clients are medication compliant and that staff are following all appropriate and applicable medication self-administration protocols.
  • Notify appropriate facilities team members of any improvements or safety issues related to a house.
  • Encourage staff development and engagement through team building activities which promotes collaboration amongst other members of the team and the organization
  • Build a positive rapport with all clients and staff. Communicate with management any concerns from clients and or staff.
  • Perform various tasks in the house including but not limited to:
    • Help facilitate weekend activities
    • Facilitate or delegate tasks of acquiring client requests or needs
    • Assist with new client intakes when needed
    • Provide retraining or refresher courses to staff
    • Safely transport clients to and/or from approved destinations when needed
    • Report to any house or shift as requested by leadership
    • Respond in a timely manner to address questions, concerns, or issues related to leadership, staff, or clients
    • Use communication platforms such as Gchat and email for staff, and VisibleHand tracking systems for clients.
  • Assess situations appropriately and/or utilize de-escalate processes should the need arise.
  • Support Organizational initiatives and meet key performance indicators such as overtime, unplanned discharges, staff retention, etc
