ACERTUS is looking for Non-CDL Local Drivers to transport passenger vehicles locally in a safe and efficient manner. We are looking for team players who are committed to providing our clients with excellent customer service. Your schedule is flexible, and you can work up to 29 hours a week. We ask that drivers be available to start at 8am, 3-4 days a week, end times will vary day by day based on volume. This is a Part Time position. 

If you currently hold a CDL license, you will be required to complete a separate DOT application as well so that a Driver Qualification file can be established whether or not you drive Commercial vehicles for ACERTUS.

WE REQUIRE:

• Must be at least 23 years of age. Candidates over the age of 65 are subject to an additional review process for insurance purposes.
• Must have a valid and current driver’s license.
• Clean MVR
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• No smoking, vaping, eating, drinking in the customer's vehicles or at the delivery/service locations at any time.
• One year of driving experience
• Must be able to operate a Smart Phone/Device
• Must be willing and able to drive in different weather and road conditions.
• Must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to travel up to 150 miles from the office.
• Must be able to get in and out of various vehicles (cars, vans, Sprinter-type vans, 24 -26ft. box trucks, etc.) and be able to operate vehicles assigned.
• Previous experience driving larger vehicles (i.e., Vans, Sprinter-type Vans. 24 -26ft. box trucks.) preferred, but not required.
• Possess excellent professional communication skills.
• Knowledge of laws governing the operation of motor vehicles on public roads.

As a non-CDL local driver you will:

• Be able to maneuver assigned vehicles in narrow and constricted spaces.
• Be able to follow detailed systems, procedures, and provide outstanding customer service.
• Communicate timely and effectively with clients and management
• Prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines
• Present electronic and hard copies of documents pertaining to the vehicle
• Submit required documents for processing
• Complete Pre and Post trip ECR (Electronic Condition Report) on all vehicles
• Complete vehicle intake and delivery processes
