The position:

AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and talented Network Engineer to support Infrastructure.

This position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Network Engineer.

This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as a Network Engineer may include:

• Set up, configure, manage and monitor networking equipment including switches, routers and firewalls. Identify, diagnose and repair network issues.

Must-haves:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in stated knowledge, skills, & abilities below.
• CompTia Security
• DoD Top Secret security clearance

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Vast experience with networking including, setting up manageable switches, firewalls, VLAN's, VPN's, Must have experience specifically with Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Familiar with the HBSS environment
• Knowledge of Next Generation Firewalls, Software Defined Networking, and Windows and Linux skills desired

Physical environment and working conditions:

The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site. In some occasions, the employee may be required to report to offices or buildings near the work site.
