Accounts Receivable Part Time Clerk $18/hr

3 days a week 8am to 3pm

MUST work on the 1st and 15th of each month unless dates fall on weekends

Responsibilities:
- Process and post customer payments to the appropriate accounts
- Prepare and send invoices to customers
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Assist with collections efforts, including contacting customers via phone or email
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and communications
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment processes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance is a plus
- Ability to negotiate payment terms with customers
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Quicken) and MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is preferred but not required
- Strong mathematical skills
