Who We're Looking For

We are currently looking to hire a part-time Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

Requirements:

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Required)
Must be available to work (3) 10-hour shifts on Saturday-Monday
Part-Time Only
2 years of veterinary experience
Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
Knowledge of common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting
Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
Assisting doctor and other technical staff with surgeries
Blood draws (cephalic and jugular)
Placing IV catheters
Digital radiology including positioning.
Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)
Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology; HM5; Vetscan; Sedivue
Excellent client communication/education
Passion for working with animals and their owners
