THIS IS AN IN OFFICE POSITION- BALL GROUND, GA THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION Title of Job: Permit Expeditor Status: Non-exempt Reports To: Office Manager Summary of Position: The Permit Expeditor is responsible for providing accurate and timely code research specific to each project’s zoning district requirements. This position will work closely with the Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and License Holders to prepare and file all permit applications. The Permit Expeditor must have a sense of urgency, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and strong communication skills. Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Research permit requirements in a project’s local jurisdiction
Coordinate with other internal teams regarding other needs such as corporate registration in a state or local jurisdiction
Understand the process and timelines related to permits in a given jurisdiction and the impact to a project schedule
Gather, prepare, and submit permit applications and accompanying information required for submittal
Work with third parties to complete submittal packages
Coordinate with other internal teams regarding other needs such as corporate registration in a state or local jurisdiction
Maintain a tracking log and continuously manage permit progress
Provide updates to project team members as to the status and progress of permits
Provide project team permit start package for the job site
Attend frequent calls regarding current and upcoming project needs.
Maintain company systems and save files in the proper locations for organized retention and recall
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must be able to pass a background check
