SUMMARY OBJECTIVE:
Under supervision, support the division staff in the administration of various accounts (i.e. Agencies, IRAs DB and DC Plans, etc.) according to the required policies and procedures, while maintaining the highest standards of service for the client. Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained, assist with the completion of discretionary distribution requests, annual administrative reviews, special account reviews, and other functions, as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Conduct business development and administer various retirement services accounts while maintaining the highest standards of service for the client. Assist with the division officer as assigned.
2. Effectively provide documentation and research while maintaining direct communication with attorneys, accountants, beneficiaries, and plan administrators of accounts to establish and promote current accounts and lines of business according to the Trust Company’s guidelines.
3. Ensure that all customer inquiries are responded to accurately and promptly, and that all customer reports, remittances and correspondence are accurate and timely.
4. Complete administrative reviews, distribution forms, etc., responses to audit questions, exam or compliance issues as required from time to time.
5. Under the supervision of management, assist with recordkeeping duties to ensure deposits distributions and participant statements are completed on a timely basis.
6. Resolve problems reported by clients and others, and seek guidance from management as appropriate.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position requires no supervision of employees.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is frequently required to: 1) Type or otherwise work with fingers; 2) Talk expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers or clients accurately, loudly, or quickly; 3) Hearing – perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with/without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make the discriminations in sound. 4) Specific vision abilities required by this job include: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading.
Sedentary work may require occasionally lifting of up to 10 pounds and/or move up to 25 pounds. This work involves sitting most of the time with walking and sitting.

REQUIRED/ PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of a two year degree is preferred, however, in lieu of the degree we will accept a minimum of three (3) years direct or related experience in finance, trust or retirement services.
