Responsibilities:
- Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
- Support marketing executives in organizing various projects
- Conduct market research and analyze rating reports/ questionnaires
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information; maintain and evaluate enrollment statistics on a monthly basis; create reports
- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns, and attend them to facilitate their success; track completed campaigns and review successes and failures
- Build and maintain campaigns via HubSpot
- Prepare and deliver promotional presentations
- Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts; post events on social media and local web pages; take photos or videos as needed for website and promotional content/materials
- Write marketing literature (brochures, pamphlets, etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market; order promotional items for tradeshows and internal distribution
- Maintain and update the website as an effective, external communication and marketing tool (e.g., newsletters, lunch menus, etc.)
- Welcome prospective students and their families to campuses through a variety of strategies, including open house events, student tours and campus visits, and faculty and staff meet-and-greet events
- Update and deliver informational pieces for local media and targeted neighborhoods and audiences
- Represent the school in the local community
- Communicate directly with stakeholders and encourage trusting relationships
- Attend faculty, administrative, and all other meetings as needed
- Assist with annual school portraits and yearbook, as needed
- Conduct annual parent and teacher surveys
- Other duties and tasks as assigned
- Proven experience as a marketing assistant
- Understand the differences between print, digital and social media marketing and create effective campaigns for each type
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software, and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords, etc.)
- Exquisite communication and people skills
- High School diploma; BSc in Marketing, Business, or a relevant field is a strong advantage
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs at times
