Overview / Job Summary:This position has two primary functions: 1. Maintain a functioning tool crib 2. Responsibility for shipping and receiving for the college. This includes supply and equipment ordering and maintenance. Distribution of tools and supplies, vendor relations, and logistics of multi-campus/department coordination of deliveries and shipping. This position interfaces with multiple internal and external customers on a regular basis, professionalism is an essential duty of this position.Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:
Maintain a functional tool crib, maintain records and inventory
Order for tool crib
Manage and track fixed assets
Maintain Assets
Receive and unload deliveries from multiple styles of vehicles
Ship packages using multiple vendors
Transportation of equipment on and off-site.
In conjunction with various college divisions and departments, order supplies, verify deliveries, and prepare shipments. Conducts business, presents information & provides customer service to external vendors and partners as well as across hierarchies and departments college-wideEducation:
High School diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree or higher preferred.
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Needed:
Ability to gain approval to operate company vehicles
Clean driving record preferred
CDL preferred
Ability to Operate a Forklift
Ability to drive a box truck
Ability to pull a 24 trailer
Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to walk mile consistently
Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills
