You can expect to be cross-trained through the departments in our DC - giving you the ability to float where needed and eventually being assigned a permanent department that fits your skills and desires in addition to the needs of our Operations team and AmeriLux International. Job Duties | Qualifications:

Manage a team of 4 operators on two shifts, in plastic machining operations

• Provide direction and guidance for direct reports
• Create and maintain a positive workspace
• Lead and initiate performance reviews and team member feedback
• Lead continuous improvement projects
• Responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost metrics for a team of 4 operators
• Works alongside customer service and sales team to ensure customer expectations are met
• Collect, sort and analyze data to drive decision making
• Works directly with plant manager on daily operations and long term planning
• Ability to work well with other team members with a high degree of enthusiasm.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory
• Machining experience preferred
• Ability to evaluate raw materials and modify processes accordingly
• Ability/Desire to troubleshoot machines and processes
• Create, modify and evaluate department performance against a production schedule using Plan:Actual methodology.
