The Direct Care Worker (DCW) Workforce Program Manager is responsible for overseeing DCW recruitment and retention initiatives and for assisting with the Participant directed and agency models of care, including monitoring and collaborating with the Fiscal Management Services (FMS) vendor. This position is responsible for developing workforce innovations that improve the recruitment, retention, and skills of direct care workers for education, training, and other initiatives. Workforce initiatives include employer partnerships, training programs, pre-service orientations, promotion of direct-care worker organizations and associations, professional support, certifications, career-ladder opportunities, care team integration of front-line workers, and marketing for education and increased awareness of Participant-directed services options.
