$52,855/year to $66,069.99/year actual rate will depend on experience

About the Assistant Financial Center Manager position:
Consistent with the credit union mission of providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the Assistant Financial Center Manager will primarily be responsible for:
  • In the absence of the FCM, assume responsibility of leading and directing staff to meet and/or exceed sales and service goals as outlined in the annual financial plan, including all other goals/referrals assigned to the Financial Center to support the AmeriCU Strategic Plan.
  • Assist the Financial Center Manager to lead, direct and supervise all daily Financial Center sales operations and staff within established policies and guidelines that support and further the goals of the credit union and the Strategic Plan.
  • Build and maintain efficient and accurate day-to-day operations, professional member service, sales, and member relationship-building activities.
  • Act as a role model for the MVP culture by creating and maintaining an excellent environment for both staff and members.
Assistant Financial Center Manager Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Possesses a strong knowledge and understanding of AmeriCU’s Strategic Plan and understands how this role impacts the success of the credit union.
  • Partner with Manager in developing a team of highly motivated, results-oriented employees through effective leadership practices; ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain efficient team performance.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for all credit union products, services and procedures.
  • Manages the day to day administrative and operational aspects of the financial center by delegating work, assisting with complex transactions and sensitive member issues, problem solving; serves as a resource to answer questions, and explain policies and procedures.
  • Works with credit union partners and vendors to ensure expenses are in accordance with budget under direction of Financial Center Manager or Assistant Vice President
  • Provides a consultative sales approach to meet our members financial needs by effectively interpreting credit bureau reports, proactively identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up sell beneficial products and services to include secured and unsecured loans, credit cards and real estate loans.
  • Exceeds personal and/or Financial Center sales and service goals, as assigned, with a high degree of accuracy on both loan and membership documentation.
  • Develops a strong partnership with line of business partners for the purpose of focusing on member acquisition and deepening the relationship of current members.
  • Deliver effective member engagement strategies through community events, sponsorships, and financial literacy training to support AmeriCU’s Vision
  • Assist in resolving staff conflicts and employee issues to maintain an MVP 1-Team work environment.
  • Achieve staff results by communicating performance expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and selecting high caliber employment candidates to expedite the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with HR, operational, risk, security and audit procedures and policies.
  • Monitor and identify personal and professional development needs. Maintain personal capabilities consistent with the organization’s management philosophy and values through special project assignments, workshops, and management development classes and/or seminars.
